Official Web Site of the BAY AREA ROADSTERS
the oldest Roadster Club in Northern California.

On Friday, February 5th, 2010, while on his way to a club meeting, Warren Freedlun was taken from this life in a fatal head-on collision occurring just a few miles from his home. His passenger, Mike Smith and the driver of the other car received injuries that were not considered serious enough to require hospitalization.
Warren was more than a dedicated hot rodder and club member. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and an honest and decent person. Also, include on the list...extremely talented mechanic, body man, painter and machinist. If anything, there was very little he couldn't do to a car. When you look at the cars he has built over the years and still owns, you will understand. Nothing was too tough or complicated for Warren!
Warren joined the Bay Area Roadsters in 1961. He left the club in 1971, but rejoined in the 80's. He was made a Lifetime Member in the 90's. His dedication, support, friendship, and easy and helpful manner will be greatly missed. Never saw him mad or heard him say a bad word to or about anyone!! Rare qualities in today's world!
Friday, February 12th would have been Warren's 77th birthday
Our love, sympathy and prayers go out to his wife Kathy and to his entire family! He will not be forgotten!
GOD NEEDED A MECHANIC----
WARREN ANSWERED THE CALL!
GOD GOT THE BEST!!
Respectfully submitted,
