In late March eight members lead by Andy Brizio took a little ride to Delmar in southern California to attend the inaugural Goodguys Event to be held in that City.
The Clubs activities started out with a BBQ at the Home of Dennis Varni, on the first Saturday in April. This is always a special treat, Dennis has put together a large collection of automotive memorabilia, and he always has some project in process we can check out.
Pete Howe organized a Run to Sutter Creek and the surrounding area. The Club members meet in Pleasanton and travel the back roads into the Gold Country stopping for lunch in the little town of Ione. After lunch drove through the countryside to Sutter Creek where toured the little shops, had dinner and spent the night. The next morning we cruised on down highway 49 to Jamestown and Jackson before heading home. Also in May many of the Club made our annual trip to the San Luis Roadster Run and Car Show held in San Luis. This is always a lot of fun; on Thursday nights in downtown San Luis they have a large Farmers Market/ Street Fair, which offers great food and great entertainment. On Friday we cruised to Pismo Beach and the surrounding towns for the Day. Saturday is the actual event, which is a car show, held in a local park. On Sunday it time to climb back into the Roadster for the ride home.
In mid-June the Club made its annual cruise to Los Angeles to support the LA Roadsters Father Day Run. There were seventeen members who drove their Roadsters to the LA Show. This has been a long-standing tradition for the members of the Bay Area Roadsters.

While we were in Victoria they also hosted a BBQ in our honor and gave us a driving tour of some of the points on interest in that city. W when we Victoria We spent two days site seeing in Victoria before getting back on the ferry to Vancouver From Vancouver we headed northeast to Kelowna. The next day we departed Kelowna for one of the prettiest rides you have ever taken through the Canadian Rockies ending up that evening in Banuff.
